Grey Printed Wool Tailored Coat

The coat has a regular cut and a mid-thigh length, with a notch lapel and a two-button single-breasted front. It is fully lined in black, with a single centre back vent. There are two flap pockets at the hips, a welted breast pocket and one internal pocket. Each cuff carries five decorative buttons, and all the buttons are real horn.

The print was created by Renée Bedell, inspired by vintage textiles handmade by the Miao people of China, whose patterns record their migration, myths and ancestral beliefs. Broken vertical stripes in black run through the body and sleeves, with a painterly quality like ink on cloth. The print is placed so that the stripes mirror each other on the back.

Printed in a small print studio in London and made in England.
